Gee!!! And I thought my world was crazy....

I was on facebook yesterday when my local news crew posted this on their facebook wall...

This story prompted many people to state that they too thought it was totally insane. You know if in a round about weird way we try to rationalize this like he did it might go something like this.... we can say that they have are right to drive drunk so car insurance companies can getter higher premiums. I mean after all with everyone racking up DUI's, running red lights, etc.; insurance premiums are bound to go up. Hell this will even benefit car dealerships when more people drive drunk you need to buy new cars after all the accidents that drunk driving will cause. Hospitals will get in on this too. If insurance companies are willing to accept drunk drivers then think of the insurance claims that will be paid, thus giving them more patients too. Thus keeping the bars & cars in business, hell sounds like a win win for everyone except for the poor innocent person that gets killed.. but then again more money for the funeral homes... this is sad...

The bottom line is this is our government telling us this. This slub actually got elected into office and publicly defended drunk driving. This is not to be taken out of context, I DO NOT CONDONE DRUNK DRVING!
